Roger was born in York England and emigrated to Canada in 1956. Roger started contracting in the early seventies. In the eighties Roger moved from home renovations into the house building industry, becoming a Registered Builder with HUDAC. HUDAC is what Tarion replaced to provide protection for home buyers. Roger and his wife live in Barrie Ontario.

As part of a 30 year career as a Platoon Chief in the fire department Roger ended his last years in Project Reviews.  Roger was in charge of reviewing and inspecting construction projects ranging in value from tens of thousands of dollars to millions of dollars. Some building projects lasted for up to two years. What is a WETT Inspection?

WETT stands for Wood Energy Technical Transfer; it is a non-profit training organization for wood burning appliances.    Many people have a wood burning appliance installed for an alternate heat source or just for the ambiance.
